Brief info

Ken Missler was born in St. Louis, MO and grew up in Wichita Falls, TX from the second grade through college.  He graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Medical Services Corps in 1982.  From 1982 – 1993 he served in various military health care administration roles culminating in his last assignment as Administrator for the Department of Surgery, Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA. 
In 1990, he completed his course work for the Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration through the U.S. Army-Baylor University Health Care Administration Program, San Antoinio, TX.  Following his military service, Ken served as a practice administrator for orthopedic groups in Pittsburgh, PA and Greenville, SC and was responsible for completing large building projects for the two groups.  He then became a Project Executive for the health care design-build firm, Marshall Erdman & Associates, Madison, WI from 2002 – 2007.
Ken continued his interest in real estate development and became a real estate broker in 2010.  In June, 2013, he purchased the small, 12-bed memory care facility that he named Riva Ridge Memory Care with the intent of developing a 16-bed Assisted Living facility.  That 8,600 sf project was completed in August, 2017 to form Riva Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Center.  Ken attributes the favorable reviews of the operation to his wife, Ivonne, and her team of exceptional managers and caregivers.
